today i...

1) took my last paper! yay yaY yAY YAY!!!

2) had an extra half hour to do my paper =) haha. cos i managed to get the school doc to certify that my right wrist is hurt, so she extended my exam time by 15min per exam hour. so i had 30min more for yesterday's and today's paper.

3) took my exam in a room with only 2 candidates. haha.

4) didn't have tuition. cos the mum forgot that i'll be coming for tuition and made the boys take an afternoon nap. so i told her it's ok lah, let them sleep. (i don't wanna teach half asleep students anyway). 

5) gave myself a little treat.. ice cream~! wanted to eat the waffle cone twist but they didn't have it =( settled for an ice cream cone.. and it's no longer 25cents le!!

6) bought a new skirt and a top! haha. cos no tuition mah, so i decided to head down to compasspoint to jalan jalan. saw a skirt and a top from Metro which i think are nice and reasonably-priced. went to try them on and couldn't resist it. decided i'll pamper myself.. =)

yeah. so i'm officially declaring holidays~!! weeeeEeeEee~! oh btw. my right hand still hurts a little when i carry heavy stuff but it is much much much better now. think it's recovering well. PTL! thanks to those who prayed and sms-ed me to show concern.. let me see.. cai ying, peg, hwee, xiang, sheryl, jo, tingni, tianyue, sijie, lionel.. THANKEW! =) =) =) =)

it's time to start preparing myself for my trip. i must work harder at the support raising. it's erm.. stagnanting and far from target. God, please pour forth the funds!!!! AMEN!!

when clumsiness gets the better of me..

ah ha. yes. guess what happened. i decided to be disciplined to go to school to mug. just as i was alighting from 151 at the central library bus stop, i fell off the steps and went crashing onto the floor. i literally fell off OUT of the bus. don't ask me 'how come??', for i will not be able to answer that question. i wasn't sleepy, i wasn't dizzy, i wasn't thinking about anything. maybe u can check out the meaning of 'accident' for an answer.

with my left hand holding my readings and mp3 player, i could only break the fall with my right hand. as i stood up, my right hand was painful, my right hip was painful, and my right knee hurt. no bleeding but still very pain (and paiseh). thank God i wore berms, not shorts. the berms minimised any possible bleeding of the knee to a bruise.

i decided to just be strong and continue to mug in the library. but as the hours passed, my hand began to hurt more and more. until 4pm, when i realised that it hurts to write just one chinese character, i decided i need a sinseh. went home, my dad went to the sinseh with me and right now, my right wrist is bandaged. what's more exciting is..... my next paper is TOMORROW.

AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my dear brothers and sisters, pls pls pls pray for me that the pain would go away by tmr morning, so that i can write during my afternoon paper. thanks so much =)

sigh. it's really not fun to injure ur dominant hand during exams period. but i still thank the Lord, that this didn't happen at the beginning of my exams. if not, sure sian ji bua one. and thank God that i didn't knock my head on the floor. my face was like so close to the ground. phew.

yep. so that's the account of my clumsy encounter. i'll update tmr if my hand is better. pls pray.. thanks =)

sometimes, i feel deaf to His Word. or at least, i choose to turn a deaf ear. but the Lord will continue to speak until i finally receive His Word.

i thought the remedy for a stressed-up high C is to leave her alone (and let her dwell in self-pity), lest she bites u simply bcos u crossed into her path. but God knows what is better...

little encouraging sms-es from friends.. thanks brother and thanks lalang.. =)

 a little chat i had with a friend just before i wanted to leave the library with a i'm-all-so-stressed-up-so-u-better-leave-me-alone face. he was sharing about letting ur supporters know that they are appreciated, something i had wanted to do but had put on hold due to exams. but he said, don't wait till after exams, do it now. that was a good reminder. thank God that he shared this with me.

bumping into sijie at the 151 bus stop this afternoon. she prayed for me and man, her prayer was right on the dot. AMEN AMEN AMEN.

3 sms-es to ask me how was my paper. (well, i don't usually receive such sms-es u know..) as i replied those sms-es, i also begin to realise that all i can do is to commit that paper to the Lord, and concentrate on other papers..

in case u wanna know how was my 1st paper.. i tell u. BAD. as usual lah, cannot finish. 4 choose 2, 50marks each. due to the bad experience last semester, i seriously have a phobia of having to answer only 2 questions. but alas, i have 2 such papers this semester. sigh.
